Figure Drawing on the Patio w/ The Casual Creative
Join us for an evening of drawing from a live model outdoors on the patio at MoDa Studio.
An invitation to unwind, relax, slow down and practice drawing from observation. Grab a glass of wine, settle-in and we will begin the evening with a few drawing exercises followed by a 1 hour drawing session with a live semi-nude model. This is not an instructed class, but rather a chance for you to put charcoal to paper and in community.
Beginners and first-timers are highly encouraged to join! It's a supportive and pressure-free creative environment. Guidance available for those who needed it.

When was the last time you did something creative just for the heck of it? As kids we played and created things with our hands all the time. That’s how we explored new objects and mediums to figure out how they work, what they mean to the world and what they mean to us. As adults, we don’t easily get enough opportunities to play and explore without the pressure to be ‘good’ or ‘productive’. The Casual Creative is on a mission to create safe and cozy spaces with the right vibes, so you feel inspired to play.

Sip & Play with The Casual Creative
Paper Cut Out Art is back! And this time in Abbott Kinney.
We will be hosting the event in the charming backyard of @modastudios.venice (If you haven’t been here for an event, it’s a super cute Venice bungalow hosted by the sweetest mother-daughter team)
Inspired by Henri Matisse we will “draw with scissors”.
We will start with some guided exercises to get creativity flowing and then dive into creative play while enjoying delicious sips and light bites!
No prior art experience necessary! This is a super beginner friendly event but also incredibly fun for more experienced artists. Also perfect as a solo, romantic or a friend date idea.
